Captain Julio Lima was raised in St. Petersburg, Florida and spent the majority of his life on the water fishing for more than 40 years. Prior to running charters, Capt. Julio served 6 years in the U.S. Coast Guard and 30 years as a full-time police officer for the Polk County Sheriff’s department. Capt. Julio never stopped fishing during his law enforcement career, and in 2012 he earned his Coast Guard 6-pack license, eventually realizing that he was ready to start teaching others the art of fishing. Capt. Julio runs guides for beginners and pros, young and old, women and children, and people from all walks of life.
No matter who you are or where you’re from, everyone has a great time fishing with Julio! Captain Julio prefers using live bait and always catches his bait fresh, either the day before or the morning of your charter!
